Jamshedpur, Nov 10:  IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted clear and bright weather during Diwali this year.

Weathermen ruled out any adverse weather conditions during the festival. The possibility of rain was ruled out during the festival.

Diwali, the festival of lights will be celebrated on November 12, Sunday.

Weathermen said no significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand. Only light northerly wind prevails at lower levels of the atmosphere.

Due to clear weather, the minimum temperature is also expected to witness a fall in the next 72 hours.

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature of 32.8°C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature  of 14°C was recorded at Ranchi.
