The operation, conducted in Marhote village of Surankote, led to the recovery of five IEDs, a wireless set, and some clothing items. Authorities believe this location has been used as a hideout by terrorists.

Following the seizure of explosives, security has been tightened at Srinagar Central Jail and Jammu’s Kot Bhalwal Jail — both housing several high-risk terror operatives. Officials suspect that some of these detainees may be involved in facilitating attacks from inside prison.
