New Delhi, April 11: Bibhav Kumar, the personal assistant (PA) to imprisoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has been dismissed from his position.
The Directorate of Vigilance (DoV) has initiated an action in this regard since he is currently facing charges of ‘obstruction.’
The order was issued by Special Secretary of Vigilance YVVJ Rajshekhar, who cited an ongoing 2007 case against Bibhav Kumar for allegedly impeding government work.

“The Competent Authority hereby terminates the engagement of Bibhav Kumar, in terms of the provisions of Rule 5 of the Central Civil Services (Temporary Service) Rules, 1965, with immediate effect,” the order stated.
The directive specified that the allegations against Bibhav Kumar are serious, including the accusation of using force or threats to obstruct a public servant from performing his duty.
The move follows two days after Bibhav Kumar and Durgesh Pathak, the MLA for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), were questioned by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) over money laundering in connection with irregularities in the Delhi excise policy case.
