Dhanbad, Nov 15: A lady make-up artist of Jawed Habib chain of salons jumped from the rooftop of Laxmi Apartment in Shashtri Nagar under Bank More police station on Tuesday evening.
Jawed Habib Salon is on the fourth floor of Laxmi Apartment in the posh Bank More market area based on the side of NH-32. The victim woman identified as Renuka asked her colleagues that she had to go out for some work. A few minutes later she jumped from the rooftop.
She was first admitted to the nearby Patliputra Nursing Home. After first aid, she was referred to Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) Ranchi in critical condition.
The Bank More police team which also reached the spot after getting information said that an investigation was being done. It is not clear whether she had jumped herself or someone pushed her. “Other staff of the establishment are being interrogated,” a police official told media persons.
Renuka is said to be a resident of the Ramgarh district and has been working in Bank More-based Jawed Habib salon for the last nine months. The staff of the establishment are tight-lipped over the incident.
