Dhanbad, Nov 20: Dhanbad Public School, Dhanbad became CBSE National Yoga boys’ under-14 team champions 2023 which concluded at KDB Public School, Old Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad on Sunday.
In the four-day championship (November 16 to 19), the Dhanbad Public School boys’ team earned 499 points followed by Jaypee Vidyamandir Anoopshahr, Uttar Pradesh in second position. Rotary English Medium School, Khed, Maharashtra and Delhi Public School, Gaya were jointly placed in the third position.
Members of the national boys’ under-14 champion Dhanbad Public School were Manas, Mayank Kumar, Nayan Dutta, Nikhil Raj and Bhaskar Kumar Dutta. Senior teachers Shashikant Pandey and Pinki Singh were coach and manager of the team.

A total of 108 school teams across the country had qualified from different zones in the national championship. In the final round 12 teams had reached in which Dhanbad Public School from Jharkhand bagged the team championship.
Dhanbad Public School qualified for the East Zone competition held at Delhi Public School (DPS) Dhanbad.
President of the Dhanbad Public School group Kailash Agrawal has congratulated the players (students) of the team.
