Jamshedpur, Nov 22: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather over Jharkhand for the next five days.

The Met Centre also issued an alert of early morning fog and mist, especially in those places located in higher terrain.
According to weathermen, most places would experience clear weather as they see no adverse weather conditions in today’s weather chart analysis and satellite images.

The minimum temperature which is hovering between 14 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius is expected to remain so for the next few days.

The onset of winter is slightly delayed this year as the minimum reading in all 24 districts is still above 13 degrees Celsius.
Residents at several places including Jamshedpur are still using fans during night time. ACs are also used during the daytime.
“We are still not using woollens and warm clothes. The winter chill is absent so far this year”, said a Jamshedpur resident.
Another resident of Chaibasa in neighbouring West Singhbhum where the minimum temperature is hovering around 17 degrees said, “We are yet to unpack the woollens from the wardrobe. We are into the last week of November but the winter chill is missing.”
