Jamshedpur, Oct 9: In preparation for the 2025 Ghatshila Assembly by-election, the District Election Officer of East Singhbhum, Karn Satyarthi, along with Senior Superintendent of Police, Piyush Pandey, conducted an inspection of the Jamshedpur Co-operative College, the strong room, to oversee the dispatch and receiving arrangements for Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

The Jamshedpur Co-operative College will serve as the central hub for the 45 polling parties in the Ghatsila constituency, both for the dispatch of polling teams and the receiving of EVMs after voting concludes.

During the inspection, senior officials provided on-site guidance to ensure smooth operations and directed the building construction department engineers to complete the strongroom construction within the college premises.
