New Delhi, Oct 3: The Election Commission of India reported on Thursday that the overall voter turnout across three phases for the Assembly elections in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir stood at 63.88 per cent.
The Election Commission stated that the third phase of voting, held on October 1, saw a voter turnout of 69.69 percent.
The voter turnout in Phase 1 was 61.38 percent, while in Phase 2, it stood at 57.31 percent.

In Phase 3, the female voter turnout was slightly higher at 70.02 percent compared to the male voter turnout of 69.37 percent.
The total male voter turnout in the Assembly elections was 64.88 percent, slightly higher than the 63.04 percent recorded for female voters.
Chhamb recorded the highest voter turnout among the assembly constituencies with 80.34 percent, where the voting took place in the third phase.
