Hyderabad, Oct 19: As part of a probe into money laundering, the Enforcement Directorate raided the premises of several people in Andhra Pradesh, including former YSRCP MP and Telugu film producer M.V.V. Satyanarayana, on Saturday, according to official sources.

At least five locations, including in Visakhapatnam, were being raided by the officials of the federal probe agency, sources said.

An FIR by the state police against Satyanarayana and others in connection with the purported grabbing of government land is the source of the money laundering case.

Satyanarayana who has produced a number of Telugu films contested the 2024 Lok Sabha polls from Vishakhapatnam seat on a YSRCP ticket and lost.
