Palgarh, Jan 1: A man has been arrested by Maharashtra police on charges of raping his 14-year-old daughter in the Navgarh area of the state.
In addition to arresting the alleged father, the police have registered the case.
For the previous few days, the accused allegedly threatened and sexually assaulted his daughter, according to Navgarh police. The victim used to be taken advantage of by the accused when she was at home by herself. He used to severely beat the victim girl when she objected him.
“She narrated the incident to her elder sister, after which she took the victim to the nearest police station and registered a case,” the police stated.
