Jamshedpur, Dec 16: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a fog alert over isolated areas of Jharkhand today.

Dense fog is expected in hilly terrain while moderate fog is expected in several other districts.

Dry and clear weather is expected in most parts of the state during the next three days.

No significant synoptic situation exists over Jharkhand.

Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature of  27.4°C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 07.2°C was recorded at Garhwa.

According to the long-term forecast, minimum reading is expected to witness an abrupt fall in the last week of December.
