Melbourne, March 28: Cricket Australia (CA) revealed the names of the 23 players awarded the latest central contracts on Thursday, with notable absence of all-rounder Marcus Stoinis from the roster.
CA has chosen to offer deals to a few new faces, leaving Stoinis, all-rounder Ashton Agar, opener Marcus Harris, bowler Michael Neser, and recently retired opening batsman David Warner among the players who would not be receiving new contracts.

Fast bowler Nathan Ellis and all-rounders Matt Short and Aaron Hardie secure new contracts after being promoted to the contract list in the summer. Additionally, promising young right-armer Xavier Bartlett also earned a full-time contract.
