Ranchi, Dec 8: Following the order of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Godda District Social Welfare Officer Anisha Kujur was suspended with immediate effect.
She is accused of not providing the benefits of the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana to eligible girls on time, being negligent towards her responsibilities and being disobedient and indifferent to the government instructions given earlier.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren was interacting with the children and the beneficiaries who came to the camps organized in various panchayats during the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ programme organized at Pathargama in Godda.
During the interaction, some beneficiary girls of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana complained to the chief minister that they were not getting the benefits of the said scheme. Soren took this very seriously and ordered the suspension of the district social welfare officer with immediate effect. The chief minister said that there should be no compromise on the rights given to daughters.

Notably, Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana is an important scheme of the state government, under which financial assistance is provided to the eligible adolescent girls of the state for empowerment, education, health, eradication of child marriage and making them capable of making independent decisions.
