Jamshedpur, April 3: Jharkhand is set to witness clear skies and dry weather on April 3, with a gradual change in conditions expected from April 4.

Partly cloudy skies are expected from Friday, with chances of light to moderate rain or thunderstorms at isolated places over north-western and central regions.

Thunderstorms may be accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 40–50 kmph.

Weather outlook for next three days

Similar conditions are likely on April 5, with light to moderate rain or thunderstorms over the northern parts of the state. No significant weather warning has been issued for the day.

Temperature rises across state

Meanwhile, temperatures have risen over the past two days. Jamshedpur and Daltonganj recorded the season’s highest maximum temperature so far at 39.4°C on Thursday.

Ranchi recorded a lower maximum of 35.8°C, but the upward trend in temperatures continues ahead of the expected weather change.
