Dumka, Nov. 17: Former Union Minister and top Bharatiya Janata Party leader Arjun Munda today said that the Hemant government of Jharkhand has created a constitutional crisis for the Government of India by settling Bangladeshi intruders in the Scheduled Area of Santhal Pargana.

Arjun Munda was talking to journalists during his election programme in Dumka.

‘Situation in Pakur is very delicate’

He said that the demography of the Pakur, Dumka and Godda districts of Santhal Pargana has started changing. “The situation in Pakur is very delicate. The Hemant government has created a constitutional crisis by settling intruders even though it knows that the area of Santhal Pargana is a Scheduled Area,” he pointed out.

“People coming from Bangladesh have created many problems for the common people here, in which marrying tribal women and usurping their land is a serious issue,” the former chief minister said.

Munda said that the record of looting the State’s resources made by the Hemant government in the State is evident from the raids conducted in recent times. “Due to Hemant’s policy of looting, social issues became secondary in the state. As soon as the BJP government is formed, all corruption will be eradicated and intruders will be reined in,” he pledged.

He said that the BJP and its allies have been in a good position in the first phase of elections and after the second phase of elections, the party will form its government. “If the government changes, people will be more enthusiastic,” he added.

Regarding Dumka, Munda said that the public representatives here are never in touch with the people. “Now, people will only make the BJP candidate win,” he maintained.
