Ranchi, Oct. 28: Ranchi: BJP President JP Nadda today said that the Hemant Soren government is a government of fraudsters.

“Crime is at its peak in the government. The government is deeply immersed in corruption. The ED is after the Chief Minister. Liquor, land, and sand mafia are making noise. Such a government should go,” he said.

Nadda said that the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and the Congress do politics in the name of tribals.

He was speaking at the concluding ceremony of BJP state president Babulal Marandi’s Sankalp Yatra at Harmu Maidan on Saturday.

Nadda said that when the BJP government and BJP workers come to power, they sit to serve the people. “But when JMM people sit in power, they sit to serve themselves, to eat dry fruits,” he said.

The BJP chief said that the Hemant government turned a blind eye to conversion for vote politics. This shows that Hemant Soren is not concerned about the culture of the tribals but only about votes, he maintained.

Hemant Soren is developing himself, not Jharkhand: Babulal Marandi

Earlier, BJP state president Babulal Marandi said that no development work is being done in the Hemant government.

“The entire government is busy earning money. When there was a BJP government in the state, the infrastructure of the state became stronger. Roads, bridges, and culverts were built. Before the elections, the Hemant government had made many announcements. He had promised to provide employment and unemployment allowance,” Marandi said.

The former chief minister said that there could not be development in the state during the tenure of Hemant Soren. “He is just developing himself. No work is done in government offices without money. There is looting of minerals. The Hemant government is giving protection to robbers. To save the robbers, the government brings expensive Supreme Court lawyers,” he alleged.

We have to throw out Hemant govt: Arjun Munda

Earlier, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda said that the public is aware of the condition of the state. “The government is cheating the state and working to harass the public. So, we have to save the state at every level. We will have to fight vigilantly until the government is overthrown,” he contended.

On this occasion, soil collected from 263 blocks and 49 municipal bodies of the state under the Meri Maati Mera Desh programme was also placed on the stage. Soil has been collected from all over the state in Amrit Kalash and brought here.
