Ranchi, January 11: Chief Minister Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren visited Cheshire Home today on the 82nd birth anniversary of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren and spent time with children with disabilities residing there.

Addressing a programme organised on the occasion, the Chief Minister said this was the first time the family was observing Guruji’s birth anniversary without him.

“Guruji Showed the Path to a Separate State”

Recalling Shibu Soren’s legacy, Hemant Soren said Guruji’s struggle, sacrifice, and dedication laid the foundation for the dream of a separate Jharkhand state. He said Shibu Soren was always committed to the upliftment of the weak, backward, and tribal communities, and that his ideals would continue to guide generations.
