Jamshedpur, April 22: The weather department has issued a forecast indicating hot and humid conditions likely to occur at isolated places over the north-eastern parts of the state on April 23, followed by a potential heat wave on April 25.

A gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C is expected over the next three days (April 22 to April 24), with no significant change expected thereafter.

Meanwhile, the east-west trough currently extends from northwest Rajasthan to east Bangladesh, passing through Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, northeast Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal at 0.9 Km above mean sea level, influencing the regional weather.

Overall, the region is likely to witness mainly clear skies and dry weather during this period.

Residents, particularly in the north-eastern parts of the state, are advised to take precautions against the rising temperatures and potential heat wave conditions.
