Dubai, Nov 21: A Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed during a flying demonstration at the Dubai Air Show on Friday. The incident was reported by international news agency AP.
The crash occurred at around 3:40 PM (Indian Standard Time). Initial reports suggest that the pilot has died in the accident. The Indian Air Force has ordered an inquiry to determine the cause of the crash.

Eyewitnesses said the aircraft lost control mid-air while performing an aerobatic manoeuvre and suddenly nosedived into the ground.

The jet burst into flames upon impact, sending thick plumes of black smoke across the airfield.
The crash triggered panic among spectators, including women and children, who were present in large numbers to witness the aerial display.
