Bhopal, Dec 16: Raghvendra Kumar Singh, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, has been assigned as principal secretary to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Singh, an IAS officer from the 1997 batch, has also been assigned the additional charge as principal secretary of the state government and Public Service Management Department, per an order issued on Friday evening.
Singh will take over from Manish Rastogi, an IAS official from the 1994 batch who held the charge earlier.

The reorganization of the administration occurred merely two days after the state witnessed the appointment of a new chief minister, Mohan Yadav, marking the conclusion of the extended tenure of the previous leader, Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
On Wednesday, Mohan Yadav was sworn in as the Chief Minister.
Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda were sworn in as deputy chief ministers during the formal ceremony.
