Dhanbad, December 2: BJP Jharkhand president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi today alleged that criminals, coal thieves and police nexus have paralyzed the law and order in Jharkhand completely. “Entire machinery in the coal belt is involved in coal theft and its share directly goes to the chief minister,” he alleged.
Babulal Marandi, who was addressing the ‘Akrosh Rally’ at Randhir Verma Chowk late afternoon today said, “If the chief minister has not done anything wrong then why is he running away from the ED. If the chief minister has not earned any ‘Kali Kamai’ (black money) then he should face the ED boldly”.
Protest against extortion, coal theft
The Akrosh Rally was organized by Dhanbad Sadar MLA Raj Sinha in protest against extortion demands, firing on traders and open loot of coal in the coal city. The march which started at Tetultalla Maidan Purana Bazar at 11.30 am reached Randhir Verma Chowk covering around 5 km distance at 2 pm.

Hundreds of BJP activists and the general public were in the march led by MLA Raj Sinha. The march turned into a rally at Randhir Verma Chowk where Babulal Marandi and MP PN Singh also joined.
Crime at peak
The former chief minister said that now the day is not far away when Hemant Soren’s place would be in the Hotwar jail rather than on the chief minister’s chair.
Crime and unemployment are at its peak in Jharkhand. The state’s youth exodus is continuing. Due to the state government, Jharkhand’s 15 labourers who had gone for a job got trapped in the Uttarakhand tunnel.
He said that law and order would prevail in the state only after the BJP government is installed.

State govt supporting criminals: MLA Sinha
Sadar MLA Raj Sinha while addressing the rally said that the success of the rally showed the resentment of people against the government as well as the police administration. He said that everyone in the city including police officials is looking away from extortion and threats from criminals. “If the state government does not take action it means it has support for criminals. I would not stop here albeit continue the agitation across the state against it”, said Raj Sinha.
MP PN Singh also expressed concern over the increasing crimes and coal loot in Dhanbad. He expressed surprise that the state government is looking helpless over it.
