Jamshedpur, May 6: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi has released its Final Placement Report for the 2025–26 academic session, reporting strong growth in salary packages, recruiter participation, and industry engagement across its flagship management programmes.
The institute recorded a major milestone this year after a student from the Executive MBA (EMBA) 2024–26 summer batch secured a leadership role with an annual package of ₹1.2 crore, the highest ever reported by the institute.
MBA Highest Package Touches ₹52.5 LPA
According to the placement report released on May 6 in the presence of IIM Ranchi Director Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava and Corporate Relations Chairperson Prof. Rajeev Verma, the highest package offered in the flagship MBA programme stood at ₹52.50 lakh per annum.

The institute also recorded a 4.19% increase in the highest domestic CTC across programmes compared to the previous year.
96 Companies Participate in Placement Drive
The placement season witnessed participation from 96 companies across sectors, highlighting the institute’s growing corporate reach.
IIM Ranchi said the batch size increased by 31.15%, while average CTC figures for top-performing students and PPO (Pre-Placement Offer) rates also improved significantly.
The Corporate Relations team engaged with 53 new companies and organised more than 70 leadership talks featuring senior industry leaders during the academic session.
MBA Placements: Average Salary at ₹19.24 LPA
The MBA programme recorded strong placement figures:
- Highest package: ₹52.50 LPA
- Average package: ₹19.24 LPA
- Top 25% average: ₹24.83 LPA
- PPO rate: 22.35%
- Average PPO package: ₹19.28 LPA
The institute said 72.83% of MBA students were freshers, while women accounted for 42.93% of the batch.
Summer internship stipends also rose by 23.12%, with the average stipend reaching ₹3.69 lakh.
MBA-HRM Records Strong PPO Conversion
The MBA in Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM) programme reported a PPO conversion rate of 40.54%.
Placement highlights for MBA-HRM included:
- Highest package: ₹22.75 LPA
- Average package: ₹17.74 LPA
- Top 25% average: ₹20.95 LPA
- Average PPO package: ₹18.86 lakh
MBA-BA Sees 22% Rise in Highest Package
The MBA in Business Analytics (MBA-BA) programme registered a 22.16% increase in its highest package.
Placement figures for the programme were:
- Highest package: ₹32.13 LPA
- Average package: ₹20.99 LPA
- Top 25% average: ₹27.81 LPA
- PPO rate: 13.16%
Students received offers in sectors including banking, consulting, fintech, IT & analytics, and insurance.
Top Recruiters Across Sectors
Several leading national and global companies participated in the placement process, including:
Amazon, SAP Labs, D. E. Shaw, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, HSBC, Tata Capital, Aditya Birla Group, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), Deloitte, Accenture, Maruti Suzuki, and Cognizant.
IIM Ranchi Debuts in QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026
Adding to its achievements, IIM Ranchi recently entered the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026, marking a significant milestone in its global recognition.
The institute has also opened admissions for the Executive MBA 2026–28 summer batch for working professionals.
