Jamshedpur, May 15: Celebrating 15 years of academic distinction, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi has unveiled its Final Placement Report for the 2024–25 academic year, showcasing a year of impressive career outcomes for students across its flagship MBA, MBA-Human Resource Management (HRM), and MBA-Business Analytics (BA) programs.

The institute has shown significant upward momentum, climbing to the 17th spot in the 2024 NIRF rankings from 24th in 2023. This placement season has further reinforced IIM Ranchi’s growing prominence in the management education space, with students securing lucrative offers from top-tier domestic and international firms.

The report was released in the presence of Director Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Dean of Academics Prof. Tanushree Dutta, Chairperson of Corporate Relations Prof. Rajeev Verma, former Chairperson Prof. Varun Elembilassery, and other faculty members.

Standout Placement Outcomes
The Class of 2023–25 witnessed participation from 96 recruiting organizations. The highest domestic salary package soared by 33% over the previous year. Additionally, the top 10% of students saw a 7.7% rise in average CTC, while the top 25% experienced a 6.6% hike.
The Corporate Relations team’s outreach efforts included engaging with 110 new companies, hosting 89 leadership sessions, and facilitating 119 virtual live projects.

Sectoral Insights & Recruiter Participation
The Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), and Fintech sectors dominated in terms of job offers, followed by Consulting, Technology, E-commerce, FMCG, and Manufacturing. There was a 33.33% jump in companies hiring for Strategy and Consulting profiles and a 28.6% increase in PPOs for Sales and Marketing roles.
Key recruiters included Amazon, Accenture, Deloitte, American Express, Aditya Birla Group, GAIL, DE Shaw, HSBC, Infosys, Vedanta, Wipro, and others.
