New Delhi, Dec 13: IndiGo has stabilised its operations after days of disruption, returning to near-normal schedules with minimal cancellations and steady on-time performance across its network.

On Saturday, the airline operated more than 2,050 flights.

The country’s largest carrier said it has maintained operational stability for five straight days, successfully connecting all 138 destinations, signalling a sustained recovery from the recent crisis.

According to data shared by the airline, operations have steadily improved since December 8. That day, over 1,700 flights were operated with just one cancellation. More than 1,800 flights flew on December 9, followed by over 1,900 flights on December 10 with two cancellations.

On December 11, IndiGo operated more than 1,950 flights with four cancellations, while December 12 saw over 2,050 flights with only two cancellations, and all affected passengers were immediately accommodated on alternate services.

IndiGo urged passengers not to be swayed by rumours of widespread flight disruptions, stating that the revised flight schedule is being strictly followed.

The airline has also instructed airport partners to display updated schedules prominently to prevent confusion, noting that over 3.25 lakh passengers fly with IndiGo daily.

Earlier, the airline acknowledged the severe impact of cancellations between December 3 and 5, estimating that compensation to affected passengers would exceed ₹500 crore.

IndiGo said it is identifying flights where customers were stranded or significantly inconvenienced and will contact those passengers in January to ensure compensation is processed smoothly.
