Ranchi, June 13: The Indian Institute of Management Ranchi kicked off the second edition of its flagship Doctoral Research Conference (DRC) on Thursday, bringing together some of the brightest research minds from across the country. The two-day event, held on June 12–13, serves as a vibrant platform for PhD scholars to present their work, engage with experts, and refine their ideas through constructive academic dialogue.
From thought-provoking keynote speeches to in-depth research presentations and panel discussions, Day 1 of the conference was a dynamic showcase of innovation and scholarly collaboration.

The conference opened with an address by Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director of IIM Ranchi, who emphasized the institute’s commitment to fostering impactful and socially relevant research. Calling the DRC the “flagship event” of IIM Ranchi’s doctoral community, he praised its unique scholar-driven format and highlighted its role in shaping research that goes beyond academic walls to benefit society.

He emphasized creating value for all stakeholders and encouraged researchers to “think differently, envision the future, and act now.”
