Special Judge Vishal Gogne observed that Lalu Prasad Yadav, in his capacity as a public servant, misused his position and interfered in the tender process, manipulating the tender conditions to benefit others.
The court stated that a conspiracy was hatched to buy a plot of land from Vinay Kochhar (another accused) at a lower price, and later these properties were transferred to Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav through a conspiracy involving other accused. It was also noted that they were associated with Sujata Hotel Limited, where Rabri Devi was a director.
However, when the court asked whether Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, and Tejashwi Yadav accepted the charges against them, all three pleaded not guilty.
