Ranchi, Oct 28: Union Agriculture Minister and Jharkhand Assembly Election Incharge Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday made a scathing attack on the JMM-Congress, saying sisters are being insulted in Jharkhand, but Chief Minister Hemant Soren is silent.
Referring to Congress minister Irfan Ansari’s jibe at BJP’s Jamtara candidate Sita Soren, he said both Hemant Soren and Irfan Ansari should remember that the Mahabharata happened on the insult of a sister Draupadi and the Kauravas were destroyed along with their clan. “The whole world knows what happened to those who insulted Mother Sita. That is why I am saying today, that BJP workers will burn the Lanka of sins of JMM and Congress, who insulted sisters and daughters, to ashes and the sun of BJP’s good governance will rise in Jharkhand,” he said.

Babulal Marandi files nomination
Addressing a public meeting after attending the nomination programme of BJP candidates, Babulal Marandi (Dhanwar), Nirbhay Kumar Shahabadi from Giridih and Narayan Das (Deoghar), Chouhan said that Jharkhand can never be happy under the JMM-Congress government. “Rahul Gandhi says that he runs a shop of love in Jharkhand, but his shop of love is being run by Irfan Ansari. What kind of a shop of love will he run? Those who insult sisters and daughters are traders of hatred,” he maintained.
Irfan Ansari insulted Sita Soren
Chouhan said that Irfan Ansari had insulted our sister Sita Soren. “Sita Soren is a respected leader, daughter-in-law of Shibu Soren, wife of late Durga Soren and respected sister-in-law of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Sister-in-law is given the status of a mother here. Irfan Ansari used abusive words about Sita Soren and Sita Soren’s brother-in-law Chief Minister Hemant Soren was silent,” he lamented.
Who has come and settled in Jharkhand?
The union minister said that daughters are not safe in Jharkhand, and foreign intruders are coming. This government is bringing intruders, gets their names written on the voter list, and gets their Aadhar cards made, because they are their vote bank. Our tribal daughters are misled, they are married, the land is bought in their name and the panchayat is captured,” he pointed out.
Kumbhkarna of JMM and Congress keep on eating for 12 months
Chouhan said that it is said that Kumbhkarna was such that, he used to sleep for 6 months and used to stay awake for 6 months and used to keep on eating only, but here Kumbhkarna of JMM and Congress keep on eating for 12 months. They ate cement, sand, stones, and coal,” he alleged.
Money to sisters, employment to youth
Chaohan said that as soon as the BJP government is formed in Jharkhand, sisters will be given an honorarium of Rs 2100 every. They will be given gas cylinders for just Rs 500 and free cylinders will be given twice a year on festivals.
He said that Hemant Soren has deceived the youth in the name of jobs, but as soon as the BJP government is formed in Jharkhand, we will initiate the process of giving government jobs in the first cabinet meeting.
