Jamshedpur monsoon trade fair on August 17-18 to promote local, women entrepreneurs

THE JHARKHAND STORY NETWORK

Jamshedpur, August 12: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will organise a two-day Monsoon Trade Fair at Chamber Bhawan in Bistupur on August 17 and 18, offering local and women entrepreneurs a platform to showcase and sell their products.

The poster for the fair was recently unveiled at Chamber Bhawan as preparations gathered pace for the event.

Focus on Local and Women-Led Businesses

SCCI president Manav Kedia said the initiative was aimed at promoting trade and creating better market opportunities for local entrepreneurs, particularly women-led businesses.

He appealed to residents of Jamshedpur to visit the fair with their families and support local enterprises.

Vice-President (Trade and Commerce) Anil Modi said the event would promote women entrepreneurship, self-employment and the Vocal for Local campaign.

He said visitors would find a wide variety of products at the fair, providing them with multiple shopping options under one roof.

The Chamber organises such trade fairs twice a year to help women and small entrepreneurs showcase their products and connect directly with consumers, Modi added.

Fair to Remain Open Till 8.30 PM

SCCI General Secretary Puneet Kauntia said extensive preparations were under way to make the event attractive for visitors and provide participating entrepreneurs with better business opportunities.

The fair will remain open from 11 am to 8.30 pm on both August 17 and 18.

The Chamber has appealed to Jamshedpur residents to visit the fair and encourage local businesses and women-led enterprises.
