He directed them to implement the digital beat policing system effectively to enable real-time monitoring of assigned jurisdictions, strengthen intelligence gathering, and ensure a more visible police presence in crime-prone and vulnerable localities.

QR code system to improve accountability

The QR code-based mechanism will digitally record patrol movements, beat visits and interactions with citizens, bringing greater transparency and accountability to routine policing.

The system will also enable supervisory officers to monitor beat activities more efficiently, ensuring timely responses to public grievances, suspicious activities and law-and-order situations.

Focus on community policing

The SSP emphasised that the success of the initiative would depend on active public participation and close cooperation between citizens and the police.

He instructed all deployed personnel to remain vigilant, deepen community engagement and utilise the new technology effectively to strengthen law and order across East Singhbhum.
