Jamshedpur, September 12: Jamshedpur is set to immerse itself in devotion, spirituality and the timeless values of Sanatan culture with the three-day Shri Go Kripa Katha Mahotsav, to be held from September 18 to 20 at Kusum Kumani Auditorium in Bistupur.
The spiritual gathering will feature renowned Gau Katha exponent Pujya Gwal Sant Shri Gopal Mani Ji Maharaj, who will narrate the glory of Gau Mata and speak on Sanatan traditions, compassion towards all living beings, service, and the values embedded in Indian culture and way of life.
Organised jointly by the East Singhbhum District Agrawal Sammelan, Dhyan Foundation (Chakulia) and Shri Gopal Parivar Sangh, the event aims to go beyond religious discourse by encouraging people to translate reverence for Gau Mata into compassion, service and protection.
Katha to be held from 4 pm to 7 pm
The Katha will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm on all three days. Organisers have urged devotees to reach the venue by 3.45 pm and occupy their seats to ensure the programme begins on time and is conducted smoothly.
Organisers said the Mahotsav seeks to highlight the deep cultural and spiritual significance of Gau Mata in Indian tradition. From Lord Krishna’s association with cows to traditions followed by sages and communities over generations, the cow has remained an integral part of India’s cultural heritage.
