Ranchi, January 254: 53 police officers and personnel, including IPS officers Prabhat Kumar and Anoop Birthare, will be honoured on January 26. The Jharkhand Police headquarters has issued a letter regarding this.
According to the letter, two police officers have been awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service; 23 police officers and personnel have been awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Service; 23 police officers and personnel have been awarded the Police Medal for Gallantry; and five officers have been awarded the Exceptional Intelligence Efficiency Medal. And personnel and two police officers will be honoured with the Union Home Minister Medal for Excellence in Research.
