Ranchi, May 31: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has declared the Class 12 results for the Science and Commerce streams. This year, the pass percentage in the Science stream stood at 79.26%, while the Commerce stream recorded a higher success rate of 91.2%.

A key highlight of this year’s results is the outstanding performance of students from the Other Backward Class (OBC), who topped the charts in both streams. Additionally, girls outperformed boys across all categories, continuing the trend of female academic excellence in the state.

Across all social groups and both streams, girls have continued to perform better than boys. The most notable performances came from girls in the OBC and ST categories, further emphasizing the rising academic achievements of female students in Jharkhand.

Class 12 Commerce Results
In the Commerce stream, a total of 22,066 students appeared for the exam, including 12,686 boys and 9,380 girls. Among them, OBC students recorded the highest success rates, with 94.94% of boys and 98.54% of girls passing.
Backward Class (BC) students also performed well, with 92.79% of boys and 97.44% of girls clearing the exam.

Scheduled Caste (SC) students saw a pass rate of 89.97% for boys and 91.11% for girls.
Among Scheduled Tribe (ST) students, 89.25% of boys and 95.31% of girls succeeded.

Students from the General category recorded 88.53% pass rate for boys and 94.35% for girls.

Class 12 Science Results
In the Science stream, out of 98,634 students, 60,725 were boys and 37,909 were girls. The OBC category again showed strong results, with 84.01% of boys and 86.30% of girls passing.
Among BC students, 80.69% of boys and 85.32% of girls cleared the exam. In the SC category, 74.77% of boys and 78.04% of girls were successful.
ST students recorded a 62.02% pass rate among boys and 71.88% among girls.
In the General category, 79.32% of boys and 80.12% of girls passed the examination.
