Dhanbad, Feb 29: Adarsh Agrawal, a 1st-year student, was declared winner of the BIT Sindri speech competition Arpan’24 organized by the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) on the occasion of National Science Day.
In the competition which concluded in the evening on Wednesday Biswajit Bhattacharya and Shruti Pandey got second and 3rd positions respectively.
BIT Sindri Director Pankaj Rai cum chairman of the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) was the chief guest at the function and he gave away certificates to winners of the competition.

President of the Institution Innovation Council Prof Prakash Kumar inaugurated the competition and informed the participants as well as students present on the occasion about science and innovation.
“The main aim of this competition was to make students aware about the life of Sir CV Raman and information about new branches of science”, said president Prof Prakash Kumar.
IIC coordinator Dr Murli Manohar and Innovation Activity coordinator Dr Rahul Kumar and members of different faculty also graced the occasion.
