Jharkhand Assembly polls: BJP issues WhatsApp number to seek suggestions for manifesto

Ranchi, August 29: BJP Jharkhand President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi stated that the party will prepare a comprehensive and inclusive manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections, reflecting the aspirations of the people. Marandi was addressing a press conference at the state party office in Ranchi.

He emphasized that the BJP stands by its promises and works diligently to fulfil its commitments. Marandi assured that the party’s manifesto will be implemented effectively, unlike the false promises made by rival alliances.

The manifesto committee, led by MLA Anant Ojha, is overseeing the preparation of the party’s declaration. In the coming days, leaders from different districts will visit various communities to gather suggestions and feedback.

Suggestions to be collected from a wide range of groups

Marandi highlighted that suggestions would be collected from a wide range of groups, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, backward classes, farmers, women, youth, athletes, traders, business organizations, students in hostels, private educational institutions, local artists, employee organizations, retired staff, differently-abled individuals, organized and unorganized labor groups, voluntary organizations, Panchayati Raj representatives, street vendors, and online trading workers.

GYAN initiative and WhatsApp number

Additionally, the BJP plans to engage directly with citizens through programs organized in various districts under the GYAN- Garib, Yuva, Annadata, Nari (Poor, Youth, Farmers, Women) initiative.

MLA Anant Ojha, convenor of the manifesto committee, stated that the BJP’s manifesto will serve as a trust-building document, inspiring the public to contribute to the development of Jharkhand.

During the press conference, a WhatsApp number was also announced for people to share their opinions.

The press conference was attended by State Media In-Charge Shivpujan Pathak, spokespersons Pratul Shahdeo, Vijay Chaurasia, and Vivek Vikas.
