Ranchi, Aug 27: The Jharkhand Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) will interrogate notorious gangster Mayank Singh, also known as Sunil Meena, for the next six days.
On Wednesday, he was brought under tight security from Ramgarh Jail to the ATS headquarters in Dhurwa, Ranchi.
Earlier, Meena had been lodged in Ramgarh Jail under judicial custody after being brought to Jharkhand from Azerbaijan.

Following court approval of his six-day remand, the ATS has now taken him into custody for questioning.
A close associate of slain gangster Aman Sahu, Meena will be interrogated about various criminal cases and the gang’s arms network.
Officials expect crucial information to emerge from the interrogation. Notably, on August 23, Meena, a close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi and Aman Sahu, was brought to Ranchi from Azerbaijan by an ATS team led by SP Rishabh Jha.
Sunil Meena faces 48 criminal cases across several districts of Jharkhand, with the highest number in Hazaribagh.

More than a dozen of these cases are registered at police stations in Barkagaon, Keradari, Korra, and Hazaribagh Sadar.
