Ranchi, July 29: The Jharkhand Biodiversity Board (JBB) has established a medicinal garden at ASTVS Jila School in Ranchi, marking the first such initiative in a school within the state capital. Alongside the inauguration, JBB organized a workshop aimed at spreading awareness on biodiversity conservation.

PCCF Highlights Importance of Medicinal Plants

Speaking at the workshop as the chief guest, Jharkhand’s Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) and JBB Member Secretary, Sanjeev Kumar, emphasized the significance of medicinal gardens. He noted that while herbs have been used for generations, traditional knowledge about their applications is rapidly diminishing.
