Ramgarh, Jan 8: The CBSE organised a two-day workshop at Shri Krishna Vidya Mandir Ramgarh.
This workshop was based on the topic of school health and wellness.
A total of 60 teachers from different schools participated in this workshop.
Resource persons
The principal of Barakar, Alok Sharma and the teacher of DAV Barkakana, Prachi Jha, were present as resource persons.
All the teachers were given detailed discussions, speeches and activities on students’ health (physical and mental) development, problems related to mental changes occurring during adolescence and their solutions.

Krishna Vidya Mandir
Teachers from Krishna Vidya Mandir, Das International School Barhi, and DAV Topa were present in this workshop.
The workshop was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. After that, a welcome song was presented by a group of school students under the direction of music teacher Prantik Roy. Problems related to health, balanced diet, gender equality and violence of children studying in schools were discussed in detail.

After the workshop, school principal Brahmanand Dwivedi gave a vote of thanks. School Management Committee Chairman Anand Agarwal (Advocate), Secretary Vimal Kishore Jaju and Administrator SP Sinha expressed happiness over the workshop’s success.
School President Anand Agarwal, while highlighting the appropriateness and necessity of the workshop, said that such a step taken by the CBSE should be appreciated.
“Teachers should take positive learning from such training and use it for the all-round development of children. The new education policy implemented by the Government of India and such workshops based on it will undoubtedly prove beneficial for society,” he added.
