Daltonganj, Dec 1: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, during his third visit to Daltonganj in last two months, asked people coming from Adivasi, Dalit and backward classes to ensure victory in the election.

His nearly 48-minute speech focused on the farmers, workers, students, women and girls. He talked home truth more than any political science.

He rapped the opposition in his speech but it was not caustic this time. He asked the opposition to wear the ‘right glasses’ to see the development around. The opposition does not notice development here in Jharkhand.

The chief minister referred to his visit to the Burha Pahar describing this Pahar as one of peace and smile now after decades of subjugation.

He graced the ‘App ki Yojna Aap ki Sarkar Aap k Dwar’ event held in Daltonganj police line ground today.

He took potshots at the Agniveer asking what the guys would do in life after serving four years in the Army.

He said the election time is around so beware of the thugs. He said people must know their rights. He assured people that his government stands with its people through thick and thin.

“The central government has put people to stand in line beginning with Note Bandi. That standing in the queue has not been over in the country.”

He referred to the poor man’s gas cylinder which is parked in a corner of his house as the poor man can’t afford to buy it.

About the farmers, he said we have been giving them KCC (Kisan Credit Card) with open hearts. Our government has given 16 lakhs KCC in his tenure so far, he added.

He talked about scholarships to girls to pursue education and not to get married at the 8th or 9th stage of the class.
