Ranchi, Dec. 14: Having skipped half a dozen summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Chief Minister Hemant Soren today called upon the JMM leaders and workers to be prepared for every situation.

“The JMM is neither afraid nor nervous of any situation or situation. It was born out of struggle and, due to the Sangharsh Yatra, formed the government with a full majority in 2019,” Soren, who also happens to be the JMM working president, said.

Addressing a meeting of the JMM district, block presidents and central officials, the chief minister said the opposition will try to break integrity and unity in the name of religion and community in the election year.

“2024 is coming as an election year when both the Lok Sabha and the assembly elections are to be held. So, anti-state people and parties will try to break our integrity and unity in the name of religion and community. So, we all need to be cautious of such anti-state people,” Soren told the party workers.

The chief minister told the workers that due to the current situation in the country, farmers, people experiencing poverty and the youth have suffered the most. “People from different sections of the community, including tribals, Dalits, and exploited minorities, are being instigated by the opposition parties towards Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.”

Call to thwart Opposition plans

The forces opposed to the country and the state constantly try to break us, but we all must show vigilance and work to thwart their plans.

“Ever since the JMM formed government in the state, people from the opposition party have been trying to topple our government. It is the result of our unity that, to date, these people have not been successful in their conspiracy.,” he added.

Call to give a befitting reply

Boosting the workers’ morale, the chief minister asked them to prepare a better strategy for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

He said that the people of Jharkhand have always been fighting for their rights and respect. “In the coming elections also, we have to give a befitting reply to the anti-state forces and parties,” he added.

JMM to attend INDIA Alliance meeting on Dec 19

Meanwhile, JMM leader Vinod Pandey said that JMM is an integral part of the INDIA alliance. “Chief Minister Hemant Soren is also included in the convening board of the coalition. Therefore, JMM will participate in this meeting. He said that since the Assembly is also in session during this time. “Therefore, after looking at the programme and format of the alliance meeting, we will decide whether the chief minister himself will go or send a representative. However, the JMM will participate in the meeting. That’s for sure; there is no if-but anywhere in it,” he said.
