Ranchi, Sept. 8: BJP state election in-charge and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today took a big dig at the Hemant government.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that the elections are now near and the coalition government which did nothing in five years, is now making hollow announcements as soon as the elections have come.
Promises not fulfilled
He said that hundreds of promises were not fulfilled. “No job was given for 5 years, and incidents like paper leaks kept happening continuously. But now the elections have come, that is why announcements are being made in a hurry,” he said.
Referring to the deaths of 12 excise constable aspirants, Chouhan said they did not even see in which season they were doing the recruitment.

“The State government knew that the recruitments will not be completed, this recruitment is not for giving jobs to the youth, this is not recruitment, it is a drama of recruitment for votes, even the physical test will not be completed and that is why they are making them run 10-km in such weather which proved to be fatal,” he pointed out.
BJP to take out yatras
He said that this was not an accident, this was murder. “This is such a crime for which the public cannot forgive,” he added.
He said that the public has made up its mind for change but the Bharatiya Janata Party will also go among the public in the form of a yatra exposing the false and hollow promises they made, corruption and deteriorating law and order situation, insult to mothers and sisters, illegal infiltration, and changing demography.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Jamshedpur on September 15. “Along with the gift of Vande Bharat train, he will also deposit the first instalment of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the accounts of 1.13 lakh poor people,” he added.
