Ranchi, March 4: The Jharkhand Congress has initiated disciplinary action against party leaders from four districts—Dhanbad, Latehar, Palamu, and Lohardaga. The decision was taken following a meeting of the Jharkhand State Congress Disciplinary Committee, chaired by Brajendra Prasad Singh.

Review of Complaints and Actions Taken

“Notices have once again been issued to certain leaders from Dhanbad, Palamu, Lohardaga, and Latehar, asking why disciplinary action should not be taken unilaterally against them,” said Brajendra Prasad Singh, Chairman of Jharkhand State Congress Disciplinary Committee.

The committee took serious note of complaints against some party leaders in Lohardagga and authorized Anadi Braham and Amulya Niraj Khalko to visit the district, hold discussions with local party members, and submit a detailed report. Based on their findings, the disciplinary committee will determine further action.

Strict Stance Against Indiscipline

Brajendra Prasad Singh reiterated that the Congress will not tolerate any form of indiscipline within the party. He emphasized that all party members are free to express their opinions but must do so through proper channels and within party discipline.

“Any anti-party statements made in the media or on social media platforms will invite strict action,” he warned.
