Ranchi, Jan 15: The Jharkhand Congress State Disciplinary Committee has issued show cause notices to 19 party leaders from four districts for allegedly engaging in indiscipline within the party organization.

The committee, chaired by Brajendra Prasad Singh, convened a meeting today with coordinator Amulya Neeraj Khalko and member Anadi Brahma to address the complaints. Notices were subsequently issued to leaders from Palamu, Dhanbad, Latehar, and Lohardaga districts.

Among the leaders served notices are Pappu Paswan and Salam Ansari from Latehar, Imtiyaj Ali (president of Dhanbad Jharia Block), Nisar Ahmed, Salim Ansari, and Mujammil Ansari from Lohardaga, and Laxminarayan Tiwari from Palamu district.

Disciplinary Action Emphasized

Speaking after the meeting, Chairman Brajendra Prasad Singh stated, “Indiscipline will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Any member found guilty of violating party norms will face action.”

He added that an emergency meeting of the Disciplinary Committee was held at the state headquarters to address complaints against the leaders.

Allegations of Anti-Party Activities

According to internal sources, these leaders were allegedly involved in working against the official party candidates during the recent assembly elections. The committee thoroughly discussed the matter before deciding to issue show cause notices.
