“Rahul Gandhi made an emotional appeal regarding gas cylinders at ₹450 during several campaign rallies, and it had a significant impact. However, I write this with a heavy heart, as the promise remains unfulfilled even after the formation of the government,” Singh stated in his letter.
Acknowledging the welfare initiatives undertaken by the state government, Singh stressed the importance of honoring this commitment. He stated that fulfilling the promise would allow Congress workers to reach out to the public and highlight the government’s achievements.
Expressing confidence in the chief minister, Singh urged Hemant Soren to ensure the implementation of Rahul Gandhi’s pledge of providing gas cylinders at Rs 450 to people, reaffirming the party’s accountability to the people.
