Jamshedpur, August 2: Jharkhand Education Minister and Ghatshila MLA Ramdas Soren is currently receiving treatment at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi after suffering a brain stroke. He was airlifted from Jamshedpur on Saturday for advanced medical care.
Minister Collapses at Home
According to official sources, Soren collapsed in the washroom of his Ghorabandha residence early on Saturday morning. He was immediately taken to Tata Motors Hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had suffered a brain stroke.
Airlifted to Delhi for Advanced Treatment
Acting on the instructions of State Health Minister Irfan Ansari, Soren was promptly transferred to Delhi for specialised treatment.

In the wake of his hospitalisation, several misleading and false reports regarding his condition have been circulating on social media. Officials have dismissed these claims as entirely baseless and have urged the public not to spread unverified information. Doctors at Apollo Hospital are closely monitoring his condition.
Upon hearing of the minister’s health crisis, party leaders and supporters gathered at Tata Motors Hospital. Among those who visited were Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi and Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar, both of whom described Soren’s condition as “critical” before his transfer to Delhi.
