Dhanbad. April 12: Police have lodged an FIR against a Facebook page operator for uploading an objectionable song with pictures of the former chief minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supremo Shibu Soren and Hemant Soren.

On the written complaint of the magistrate (revenue Sub Inspector Dhanbad), Devendra Singh has lodged an FIR at Sadar police station against the handler who uploaded on social media from Jharkhand Choupal ID.
In his application to Sadar police station, magistrate Devendra Singh said that a vulgar song had been uploaded to social media with pictures of former chief ministers Shibu Soren and Hemant Soren, which violates the Model Code of Conduct. He has urged the police to take action against the operator.

This is the second time an objectionable post has been loaded in internet media against former chief minister Hemant Soren from Jharkhand Choupal ID. On April 1, a post depicting Hemant Soren holding a pistol was uploaded from Jharkhand Choupal ID to social media.
As the post became viral, agitated JMM activists lodged FIRs against the handler at Dhanbad Sadar, Sindri, and Bilaspur police stations. The police are probing the post.
An official of Dhanbad Sadar police station said a complaint has been lodged, and the matter is being probed.
