Dhanbad, May 3: Transgender Sunaina Kinner and three other independent candidates filed their nomination papers for the Dhanbad Lok Sabha seat on Friday.
Besides Sunaina Kinner, three other candidates who filed their nomination papers were Laxmi Devi, Md Zahiruddin and Anindita Das.
11 candidates file nomination
So far 11 candidates including BJP, Congress, and Marxist Coordination Committee (MCC) have filed nominations for the Dhanbad Lok Sabha seat.
The last date of filing nomination is May 6 and voting is scheduled on May 25.

Sunaina holds roadshow
Roadshow for the nomination of transgender Sunaina Kinner was the centre of the attraction on Friday. Sunaina is a resident of Dhansar but she took out the nomination procession from Jharia in an open car.
Hundreds of transgenders equipped with their traditional musical instruments were accompanying her in different cars.
The roadshow started from Jharia and after crossing Dhansar, Purana bazaar Panitanki, Bank More reached Memko More. From there Sunaina Kinner and her followers came to the collectorate singing, and dancing on the road in their traditional style.
