Jharkhand: Flower & vegetable exhibition begins at Tata Steel West Bokaro Division

Ramgarh, Janaury 18: The 12th Annual Flower and Vegetable Exhibition organized by Tata Steel West Bokaro Division from January 18 to January 20, 2024 at Tata Steel Sports Complex, West Bokaro was inaugurated today.

Anurag Dixit, General Manager, West Bokaro Division, Tata Steel lit the lamp of the exhibition in the presence of Raksha Dixit and Mahesh Prasad, President, National Colliery Mazdoor Union, West Bokaro and PK Singh, Secretary, National Colliery Mazdoor Union, West Bokaro. Inaugurated.

Anurag Dixit, on this occasion, said, “Tata Steel West Bokaro provides a platform to the people and organizations associated with the nature, art and culture of the region through the Annual Flower and Vegetable Exhibition, which provides an opportunity to the community. The feeling of pride and creativity will be boosted. Last year, the participation of people was more than expected and in view of this, this year we have organized this exhibition on a larger scale so that more and more people and organizations can take advantage of it.”

The three-day event has a total of 54 stalls along with 12 food stalls from various institutions, vendor partners, and schools. In the programme, sand painting, rangoli, sketch painting, color painting, art and craft and various competitions will be organized among the nearby nurseries. Besides, cultural programs related to the culture of Jharkhand will also be showcased. The exhibition will conclude on January 20, 2024.

On this occasion, B.V. Sudhir Kumar, Chief, Coal Beneficiation, West Bokaro Division, Tata Steel Rajesh Patel, Chief, Quarry AB, West Bokaro Division, Tata Steel, Mazhar Ali, Chief, Engineering & Projects, West Bokaro Division, Tata Steel, Senior officials of Tata Steel including Rajesh Kumar, Chief, CEP, West Bokaro Division, Tata Steel, Praveen, Head, Planning, West Bokaro Division, Tata Steel, union officials and employees and people from the community were present.
