Ranchi, Aug 26: Governor Santosh Gangwar today assured that the appointment process of selected Kolhan University teachers will be completed soon.
The governor’s assurance came when a delegation of selected teachers met him at Raj Bhavan under the leadership of BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi.
The delegation consisted of 17 history teachers selected by the JPSC for Kolhan University.
The selected professors include Vinod Kumar Lohra, Hema Lakra, Muktarani Odeya, Mary Neela Hansda, Kavita Kumari, Arvind Kumar Sahu, Vikas Nandan, Saket Bihari, and Pradeep Jha.
Appointment process began in 2018

The JPSC declared the examination result on October 31, 2023, and recommended the names of the candidates. The Syndicate of Kolhan University also recommended the appointment on February 2 2024. However, due to the absence of a permanent Vice Chancellor in the university, the file for approval is pending in the Vice Chancellor’s office.
