Under the ‘Aarohan’ programme, boys and girls will learn the skills to maintain their mental health, identify their inner qualities and abilities and take their lives on the path of progress.
All-round development
Emphasising the objective of the ‘Aarohan’ programme, the Tribal Welfare Commissioner said that schools’ job is to promote literacy and educate the students completely. “Students must be prepared to move forward and continuously improve their lives in every situation. The overall development of children should be the programme’s aim,” he added.
“Girls and teenagers of Ashram Residential School will learn the education of emotional and internal well-being,” he added.
Quality education
Nandita Bhatla, Country Director of WorldBeing India Foundation, said this programme will be important in empowering children’s overall development and education, as mentioned in the Education Policy, 2020.
Concept behind ‘Aarohan’
‘Aarohan’ programme is based on scientific research in which, under emotional well-being and adolescent health, adolescent boys and girls are taught character qualities, understanding of emotions and their efficient management, goal setting, relationship and social skills, problem-solving, gender and adolescent health.
Related information and training are given so that boys and girls can successfully face the challenges and stress in life.
