Ranchi, June 11: The Jharkhand government has initiated the recruitment process for secondary teachers (Madhyamik Acharya) in 510 Plus Two schools across the state. A total of 1,373 posts will be filled through this drive.

The online application process will begin on June 18, with the last date to submit applications set for July 17. Applicants can pay the exam fee and upload their photo and signature by July 19.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process

To be eligible, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed. qualification. The selection will be based on a written examination carrying 100 marks.

The exam will consist of 30% questions on general knowledge, 40% on subject-specific content, and 30% on teaching skills.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 40 years for general category candidates, 42 years for OBCs, and 45 years for SC/ST candidates.

Female candidates will be provided additional age relaxation as per rules.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹100 for general category candidates and ₹50 for SC/ST candidates.

Applicants with 40% or more disability are exempted from the fee.
